CNN Stokes Hysteria on Parental Rights Bill by Helping Florida Politician Claim It Will Lead to Elementary Student Suicides – Opinion

CNN’s use of this kind of hyperbole is an indication that they are losing the debate.

It is likely if you dared to peer into social media the past couple of days, you encountered someone peacocking as a social warrior by posting the word “Gay” on their timeline. Their bravery was not measured, as they probably declared in a daft way that they would not be stopped from uttering the word. Because there was no bravery. They were doing what they had to. these boastful standsIt was possible despite the fact no one prevented anyone from doing this.

Naturally, this was to respond to the fact that the Florida legislature has been abolished Approved HR 1557, the “Parental rights in education” bill.  The legislation was created to allow parents to have greater control over the educations of their children. It is a step towards transparency at schools. Or that parents can have a greater say in their children’s education.

Just don’t call it what the press has been calling it.

Reporting on Florida’s recently passed bill has shown blatant media malpractice. Look at how prevalent the reporting has been on the alleged “Don’t Say Gay Bill.” This piece of propaganda is based on one segment in the bill that stipulates that certain topics regarding sexual orientation and other related subjects would not be considered age-appropriate instructions for the youngest of classrooms. The bill would cover kindergarten to third grade. The runners who follow the Don’t Say Gay mantra do so knowing full well that not only is that wildly mischaracterizing the language in the bill, but they claim to find a ban of the word “gay” while it It is not in the document.

There have been many hyperbolic reactions to its passing. The people aren’t only enthused about it. claiming they are being silenced or claiming to have pain inflictedThey are claiming they are not only based on them but also make the claims that they are being made to feel unsafe. A single actor tried to locate a parallel. to the Pulse Nightclub shooting. These are adults flying into hysterics because some would rather teach the young’uns the alphabet and introductions to math, not lessons in sexual matters. CNN has shown us the extremest approach.

The morning program Day of the NewBrianna Keilar called on Shevrin, a state senator, to talk about the law. The politician even claimed that the passage in Florida might lead to more deaths among students. Yes, he did go. And he did it with full authority. CNN provides assistance

By allowing the absurdity that students might be treated differently in class, It is notJones brings up the issue of the sexuality of the students. Jones claims that the absence of teachings on sexuality in kindergartens will lead to an increase number of suicides among the kindergarten age. This is pure hysteria.

Note, also, that CNN fully supported this absurd summation. Shevrin didn’t just jokingly claim his statistics. CNN already had a chyron ready for posting on-screen when Shevrin mentioned his questionable study. The appearance of the clown was completely scripted. This clown performance was completely scripted.

Jones’s research shows that LGBTQ students are anxious about news coverage and get negative comments from classmates regarding their sexuality. Now, I need to clarify that the law requires teachers to teach in Grades K-3. This is a segment of the scholastic curriculum with a low chance of being exposed to news. You would be hard-pressed to find kindergartners who knew the meaning of orientation discrimination if you polled them.

The display of opposition over the last few days shows how empty this bill’s opponents are in real life. The claims of people being intimidated, silenced and threatened as well as the assertion that pre-adolescent deaths will increase due to this law show just how illogical the activists in this country really are.

They are adults who claim to feel threatened by the age-appropriate lessons that will be taught in elementary schools. Although they might appear to be adults, their arguments have the emotional depth of toddlers.
