Thursday’s CBS MorningsTeachers who are defending themselves seeking to talk “sexuality gender identity” in preschool and early elementary school, decrying efforts to restrict it as filled with “pretty extreme” “attacks,” and “explosive” rhetoric. They argued that parents should be involved in the decision-making process. “trust your teachers to do a good job” because they’re “professionals”And don’t complain to “your politician.”
This segment took place in the context of Jamie Yuccas, chyron fill-in host and did not include any references to Jamie Yuccas. “an impassioned speech by Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow”She was then hit with “ugly allegations from a fellow lawmaker” She was accused of “wanting to groom and sexualize kindergarteners and wanting to teach eight-year-olds that they’re responsible for slavery.”
And in a case of bias by omission, CBS chose not to mention the fact that McMorrow’s a Democrat (with an American Conservative Union’s lifetime score34.85
CBS ran highlights of her fiery speech and lamented she was no longer with us. “didn’t expect to wake up…accused…of grooming and sexualizing children.”
Be sure to check that people who are LGBTQ and other non-white are being included before you go. “seen, heard, and supported” and that “hateful people” cannot win, McMorrow addressed the race angle:
I’m a straight, white, Christian, married, suburban mom who knows that the very notion that learning about slavery or redlining or systemic racism somehow means that children are being taught to feel bad or hate themselves because they are white is absolute nonsense.
Tony Dokoupil was the co-host and he reacted by lamenting “[t]he political attacks are getting pretty extreme” This is from the Republicans “grooming is quite an explosive phrase to use from one politician to another.”
Dokoupil went next to whether teachers should be “restrict[ed]” in what they “can do in the classroom,” which would include matters of sex education.
Saying he’s “met,” “reported on,” and has teachers in his family, Dokoupil argued the correct approach is to “trust your teachers to do a good job in the classroom” because “[t]hey’re professionals” who “get it done.”
Dokoupil is available to help you with concerns regarding inappropriate material. parents should “call your teacher” and not “your politician” because the former is who’s “in front of your children.”
Gayle King (co-host, Democratic Party donor) stated the following without any hint of irony. “Everything is so divisive and so hot button trigger.”
Before moving on to Queen Elizbeth II posing with two horses ahead of her 96th birthday, Yuccas argued “you can hold two ideas” by wading into hot button topics even though, in McMorrow’s case, “she’s a white, Christian mom.”
This is illustrated in the twitter account LibsOfTikTok and her reposting of the vile filth preschool and elementary school teachers openly brag about and discuss online, it sure seems like phone conversations aren’t going to work when voicing objections to sexualizing children and encouraging transgenderism.
CBS’s request that parents acquiesce to the whims of what teacher’s heart desires on matters of sex was made possible thanks to the backing of advertisers such as Crest and Progressive. Follow the links to see their contact information at the MRC’s Conservatives Fight Back page.

Eastern, 7:49 AM[ON-SCREEN HEADLINE: Michigan Lawmaker’s Impassioned Speech]
JAMIE YUCCAS : We have already mentioned Florida’s recent law that limits what teachers may say about homosexuality and gender identity to children. This is part of an ongoing debate over LGBTQ+ and kids. A passionate speech from Mallory McMorrow, Michigan State Senator has now been picked up by social media. She is fighting ugly accusations made her by a fellow legislator. McMorrow was accused of wanting to sexually assault kindergarteners as well as teaching eight-year olds about slavery. This is McMorrow’s response to McMorrow’s allegations.
MICHIGAN STATESENATOR MALLORY MCMORROW D: It was unexpected that I woke up to find out yesterday that the senator of the 22nd district had over the night accused me, by name, of grooming and sexualizing kids in an email fundraising campaign for her. [SCREEN WIPE]What are my characteristics? Who am I? [SCREEN WIPE]We are not all in this together. Our roads have been in poor shape for decades due to disinvestment. Health care costs are high and teachers are retiring. Each child of this state should be able to feel supported and heard. It is not acceptable to allow hateful people to claim otherwise in order to make excuses and distract from the reality that they do nothing to solve the real problems that affect people’s daily lives.
YUCCAS: Republican State Senator Lana Theis, who made the original allegations, did not apologize but responded, saying “I’ll keep my focus on Michigan parents, who Democrats are seeking to undermine as the primary decision-makers in the education of their children.”
TONY DOKOUPIL : There are many layers to this.
GAYLE KING: I agree.
DOKOUPIL: Political attacks have escalated to an alarming level. Sexualizing children is — grooming is quite an explosive phrase to use from one politician to another. And I want to go back to the beginning, which is laws restricting what teachers can do in the classroom — I’ve met a lot of teachers. They’re in my family. I’ve done stories on teachers, trust your teachers to do a good job in the classroom. They’re professionals. They are professionals. If you need help as a parent or student, they can assist you. This should all be done locally.
YUCCAS: Talk to them.
KING: Yes.
KING: Yes.
DOKOUPIL – You don’t have to call your politician. You can call the teacher in front of you.
KING: Everything is so divisive and hot.
YUCCAS: You can have two ideas.
KING: Yes.
YUCCAS: You can have both these views if she claims she is a Christian mother of a white child. But you know —
There is a lot of information to be unpacked at KING.
YUCCAS: — okay.
