CNN’s chief media correspondent and liberal media janitor Brian Stelter — perhaps one of the most polarizing liberal journalists of all-time —Is being pushedOut of the network, his show Trustworthy SourcesBeing cancelled after the last episode on Sunday.
According to NPR media reporter David Folkenflik, the decision to move on from Stelter was made by new CNN boss Chris Licht, who’s promised to make changes to the network following years of sagging ratings and exponential levels of partisanship under former puppetmaster Jeff Zucker.
Stelter confirmed the news to fellow lefty Folkenflik, saying he was proud of his work that showcased “the media, truth and the stories that shape our world.”
He added that “[i]t was a rare privilege to lead a weekly show focused on the press at a time when it has never been more consequential.”
