Biden Urges Canada to Crack Down on Canadian Truckers – Opinion

The Canadian truckers’ Freedom Convoy has knocked the vicious, totalitarian regime of Justin Trudeau back on its heels. Fascism crumbled when it was confronted by popular and populist resistance to Trudeau’s population and social control policies. Four Canadian provinces–Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec, and Prince Edward Island–have repealed, all or in substantial part, their various mandates. The leader of the Canadian Conservative party has been defenestrated, and questions are being raised about the viability of Trudeau’s government (More Provinces Drop Restrictions, Trudeau Ripped Apart in Parliament). Trudeau offers nothing but brutality to implement stupid policies.

Now the Biden White House is weighing in and encouraging Canada to use “federal powers” to break up the protest.

 The Biden administration urged Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government Thursday to use its federal powers to end the truck blockade by Canadians protesting the country’s COVID-19 restrictions, as the bumper-to-bumper demonstration forced auto plants on both sides of the border to shut down or scale back production.

Scores of truckers took part in the Freedom Convoy, blocking the Ambassador Bridge linking Windsor, Ontario to Detroit. This disrupted the flow of products and auto parts between both countries for the fourth consecutive day.

According to the White House, Alejandro Mayorkas, Homeland Security Secretary and Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg met with Canadian counterparts in an effort to resolve the impasse.

Marco Mendicino, Federal Public Safety Minister, stated that Royal Canadian Mounted Police reinforcements were being sent to Windsor and Ottawa, as well as Coutts (Alberta), where there is another border blockade.

Trudeau met virtually with leaders of Canada’s opposition late Thursday and said he spoke with Windsor’s mayor. Trudeau’s office said there is a willingness to “respond with whatever it takes” to end the blockades.

Although I sympathize with American companies that Freedom Convoy disrupts, the bottom line remains that our struggle is their struggle. Biden and other Democrat governors are eager to emulate what Trudeau accomplished in Canada. Our ancestors once said, “we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor,” in their struggle to end British rule of the original Colonies.  If we can’t suck up a little bit of pain to end this totalitarian bullsh**, especially after enduring lockdowns and mask and vaccine mandates, we are no longer worthy of calling ourselves the descendants of the men who gave us our freedom.
