Biden Trips Over His Teleprompter and Can’t Get the Name of the Event He’s Overseeing Straight – Opinion

Joe Biden gave the Presidential Rank Awards on Monday to 230 recipients from 37 federal agencies. It was a virtual ceremony.

Presidential Rank Awards are an award that is given to senior executives to acknowledge their exceptional service over a long period.

Later, the Rank Award statute was amended to allow senior-level employees to be eligible for the award. They must have a long record of outstanding professional, technical or scientific achievements that are recognized at a national and international level. There are two types of Presidential Rank Award: meritorious rank winners and distinguished rank recipients.

For their extraordinary and sustained achievements, recipients of the distinguished rank are honored. The rank is awarded annually to only 1%. These people receive 35% cash as an award on top of their base pay.

For their continued achievements, recipients of the MeritoriousRank are acknowledged. This award is limited to 5% per year. This award is a cash payment equal to 20% of your base salary.

Biden fell over the teleprompter. He didn’t seem to be able to see or understand what he was reading — he didn’t even get the name of the award correct, and he’s the one overseeing the event.

“And that’s what public service is all about,” Biden said. “It’s that, uh, it’s uh, it’s that what the President Rank Award–s are all about.”

How do you not even know the name of the event you’re supposed to be holding? It’s so bad he didn’t even get it right reading it off the teleprompter.

A reporter asked him if he would commemorate one million victims of COVID at the conclusion of the event. He ignored it and continued to tinker.

He ran on having a “plan” and kept saying he was doing things, yet more people have died under him than under President Donald Trump, and Biden has the benefit of the vaccine and treatments. He ignores the fact that these facts have become inconvenient to him and just shrugs off the matter. But the media hasn’t held him accountable as they did President Donald Trump, even though he’s had far more advantages to deal with the problem in large measure because of the efforts made by Trump with vaccines.

And they wonder why Biden’s numbers are so bad? It isn’t the messaging, guys. It’s the messenger. The very poor policies are another example. When people keep seeing things like this, it’s upsetting. Because Biden is a man who knows that everything is in unstable hands, it makes people anxious.

CNN’s Harry Enten described how bad it has gotten. From June 2021, the number of young people aged 18 to 29 dropped from 61 per cent to 38 percent. There was a similar very bad drop with black voters — from 87 percent to 67 percent, a twenty point drop.

They will hurt the most in the midterms. Those who would normally vote Democrat will either switch to the GOP, or they won’t come out. This spells disaster for Democrats, and Joe Biden will be responsible for a large part of it.
