You’re about to pay a lot more to keep your house warm during the winter months thanks to Biden’s economy inflating like a bouncy castle, but don’t worry, because Biden has a solution. He’ll just ask the energy companies he screwed over to lower their prices despite already harming their bottom line.
According to The Associated Press on Wednesday, the U.S. government indicated that they expect to see American heating bills soar to up to 54% this winter – a significant increase from last year. It all depends on how you heat your house.
However, the sharpest rises are most likely for propane-using homes, which only 5% of U.S. household’s use. Other households are also likely see large increases.
The average winter cost for natural gas homes in the United States is $746. This represents 30% less than last year. That could make this winter’s heating bills the highest for them since the winter of 2008-2009.
The country’s second-most popular heating source is electricity. This 41% population could experience a modest 6% increase in their household income to $1.268. Homes using heating oil, which make up 4% of the country, could see a 43% increase — more than $500 — to $1,734.
The winter forecasts for this year are higher than the last, which could mean that these estimates may be lower.
The winter season is here, and midterm elections will soon follow. It’s hardly coincidental that President Joe Biden is trying to find solutions to stop his inflation from damaging Americans where they feel it the most; their wallets. Drilling here in America, and drilling now would be the most straightforward and direct solution. This is what Texas Governor Greg Abbott demanded Joe Biden do back in August.
However, not only might it be too little too late, but drilling would upset his base so he’s left with one solution and that’s the ask the energy companies he damaged after all of his trifling to lower their costs. According to Reuters two sources say Biden spoke with oil companies. However, some companies may not be thrilled about Biden’s efforts and might reject him.
Six months can go by before a well is drilled, completed and brought to market. One oil executive said that any White House request for an increase in U.S. output is unlikely to get heeded. He did not wish to be named. The industry has also been unhappy with some of Biden’s earlier actions, including a temporary drilling halt on federal lands, that they see as an attack on the industry.
Jen Psaki (Press Secretary) denies that at the moment, the White House communicates with energy companies.
“I’m actually not aware of any contact with oil and gas companies around this particular issue,” Psaki said at a White House press briefing.
To be clear, this is the bed Biden’s made and he and the Democrats will have to sleep in it, at least until they’re kicked out of it by an angry populace that put Democrats in charge of the House, Senate, and White House only to watch them abuse and destroy a once-thriving economy.
The New York Post reports that inflation rose 5.4 percent and gas prices have risen 42 percent since last year due to damage caused to different energy companies. Biden increased the cost of power.
We have literally had the answer to all our problems under our feet for the past ten years, and we should thank Biden, the Democrats, for once more ignoring it to advance an agenda. It’s very likely that this will be one more thing people will remember when it comes time to decide who to elect.
