Biden Is Safe After Being Ushered to ‘Secure Location,’ After Private Aircraft Entered Delaware Beach House Airspace – Opinion

Fox News reports that President Joe Biden was unharmed. He quickly moved to Rehoboth Beach’s local fire station Saturday afternoon after a private aircraft entered restricted airspace surrounding his beach home.

“USSS will have a statement shortly. A small private plane entered restricted airspace, all indications are by mistake, and precautionary measures were taken,” a White House official said, according to the outlet.

“There was no threat to the President or his family.”

Local resident Susan Lillard said she saw a “small white plane” flying in the area at 12:45 p.m. EDT, CBS News reporter Bo Erickson tweeted.

“Shortly before 1 p.m. today a privately owned aircraft entered the restricted airspace over Rehoboth Delaware after mistakenly entering a secured area.  The aircraft was immediately escorted out of the restricted airspace,” Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement, CBS News reported.

“Preliminary investigation reveals the pilot was not on the proper radio channel, was not following the NOTAMS (Notice to Airmen) that had been filed and was not following published flight guidance. The United States Secret Service will be interviewing the pilot,” he continued.
