Do you want to pay more for gasoline than you currently are paying? That’s what’s about to happen now that the Biden administration has finally made its move on Russian oil.
Multiple reports claim the White House changed its mind and plans to prohibit Russian oil imports into America. This would drive up the price for this vital commodity.
BREAKING: Biden to ban Russia oil imports – AP

Although the push to ban Russian oil imports was bipartisan, many established Republican leaders supported it. I’ve taken a different approach, noting that doing so would be incredibly short-sighted and harmful if it is not also accompanied by the green-lighting of domestic energy projects. I believe in banning Russian oil imports. However, the Biden administration must be willing to allow more domestic production to ease the pain. If they aren’t, I do not believe that is a burden Americans should be asked to carry nor am I convinced it even helps the Ukrainian people.
Of course, as expected, the Biden administration is not going to do what’s necessary. Jen Psaki snarkily replied to questions yesterday regarding reauthorizing Keystone XL or increasing federal oil & gas leases for lands that can be economically drilled on.
Doocy: “Would [he]..undo his executive order that stops the…Keystone XL pipeline?
Psaki: Are you saying that this would resolve the issue of gas prices?

Americans, in short, are a nation of people. Completely screwedThey are ruled over by an intolerant administration who does not care. It would be incredibly easy to mobilize America’s energy production, even if it takes some months to make up the gap. Biden, who is so dependent on a Swedish teenager, and the greater climate-change lobby, will instead sit by and watch as you pay $5 per gallon gasoline, and 50 percent more to heat and power your home.
In essence, the White House tells hurting Americans that they should jump into a lake. Elections have consequences I suppose, but I think even the most ardent Biden opponents didn’t expect it to be this bad. Far from the “empathizer in chief,” the president has continually shown himself to be a shallow, spiteful old man who spits on the middle-class in the name of far-left ideology.
In this case, pushing for more domestic energy production would not only increase our national security (and that of our allies in Europe), but it would help struggling families who can’t afford to see their energy bills double. Something has to give, and perhaps it’s going to take a red wave in November to stop this insanity.
