Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG), whether you love her or not, is an American political bulldozer. She’s a force to reckon with. MTG, an established MAGA royalty, is not only a Trump loyalist but also a fierbrand in stillettos. After handily winning Tuesday’s primary, MTG now has a dynamism that will not only carry her through the general, but will carry along anyone whom she chooses to ride her coattails.
That’s the type of juice that separates a power candidate from a poser (looking at you, AOC). MTG has entered the realm of power candidate, and should the Republican’s take over the House of Representatives in November, expect her to leverage it.
It New York PostReports on her first victory
Far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene easily won a crowded Republican primary in Georgia on Tuesday, fending off five challengers and surviving ongoing backlash over her controversial statements and behavior.
Political lightning rod, 47 years old, leaned on her national popularity to raise millions to support her first reelection attempt. Now she will run for the General Election to represent the Republican 11Th Congressional District in the Peach State.
According to the Associated Press the incumbent held 70% of the vote.
MTG was thought to be a Democratic candidate. They wanted her removed from her committee assignments due to past Facebook nonsense. MTG did not apologize for her actions in the past and explained them to us. The only thing this attack served to do was build MTG’s base of support and help her capture the nation’s attention. MTG lost these assignments to the Democrats, but she didn’t go quietly into her good night. Her dominance was amplified and her voice grew. Her personal Twitter account was then deleted (pre-Elon). She still tweets frequently and her Congressional account remains intact.

Q-Anon is yesterday’s news, and as Americans struggle to feed their families and fill their gas tanks, J6, and who was involved, fades further into the background. Americans are interested in MTG, who uses her platform to reach out and speak on issues of concern.
MTG was defeated by the last-ditch Democrat attempt before the primaries. This involved an obscure Georgia law and an attempt at making a connection between it and the J6 rebellion. MTG’s ability to overcome this was what changed the game, as my colleague Becca Lower reported
But Greene only garnered victory after overcoming legal attempts to challenge her ability to appear on the primary ballot; activists unsuccessfully tried to tie her to the January 6th Capitol riot.
Thanks to Free Speech for the People’s attempt to keep her off the primary ballot, MTG has now become a folk hero.

MTG will take on veteran Marcus Flowers, D-Sucks, to Be You, in November general. But, barring any catastrophic events, this outcome is foregone.

You can do it!
MTG will remain a problem for the Democrats, which is what makes all of this so great. MTG will not stop calling the party out for its double-dealing or hypocrisy as it continues to double down in stupidity. She will also continue to build her election coffers and the Republican Party coffers, simply by being who she is.
But Greene managed to become one of Congress’ biggest fundraisers — amassing $9 million for her reelection bid with none of her challengers even hitting the $400,000 mark, according to the Associated Press. According to Federal Election Commission filings, she spent $6.6million before the primary.
MTG is victorious and will continue to fight for another day. This guarantees it will be a fun six months, ending in November.
