Arizona Republic states that the state currently has two laws in place which permit the prohibition of abortion within its borders. However, it is not clear if such a ban will prevail.

Hundreds of people have gathered outside the Arizona State Capitol in downtown Phoenix in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade on Friday.
Supreme Court ruling ends federally protected abortion access for nearly 50 years and has long-term effects on reproductive health.
However, the demonstration turned violent when flash bangs of tear gas and other violence broke out outside the building.

Camryn Santiago, another Capital reporter kept you informed about the current situation. Sanchez reported that they could not evacuate but the building was secured.
Update: we can’t leave, but as far as I know everyone who was inside is safe. There was only a slight tear gas smell. Fann says that they still hope to see the end of this night.

Despite the fact that the building was not broken into, Arizona declared the protest illegal assembly.
