Arizona Builds Its Own Border Wall in the Coolest Way Possible – Opinion

Arizona has been building its own wall along the Yuma section of the southern border. It is an innovative way to address the crisis.

To barricade open spaces efficiently, the state uses stacked storage containers that are welded together. The Republican governor ordered that work begin almost immediately. Doug Ducey had announced the project, and there was incredible progress within days.

Three days following the initial announcement, these before-and-after photographs were taken.

Now, that’s called getting things done.

According to Customs and Border Patrol data, Yuma has witnessed 259,895 migrants encounters in fiscal 2022. This is indicative of the larger trend throughout the Southwest. There have been more encounters than in any previous fiscal year, with 1.8 Million total.

Although some may be asking why they didn’t do it sooner, the main question is why Biden has not supported its hardworking border patrol agents or Southwestern communities. It’s true that the Department of Homeland Security announced in July that they would fill gaps along the border in Yuma, as RedState reported, but the state decided that it’s better not to sit around and wait for them to fix the problem.

Ducey, Texas Governor. Democrats have criticized Greg Abbott for his state-based response to the border crisis. This includes their decision to transport migrants from East Coast cities to Ducey. These Democrats, including Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and New York City Mayor Eric Adams, haven’t mentioned the impact that large influxes of people can have on smaller towns with less resources than their larger cities.

There was some criticism regarding the storage container method, as two of the containers fell over in a storm, and the governor’s office quickly refuted the story.

“Let’s be clear: this incident took place prior to completion of placing and securing the containers to the ground. After fully securing them, the containers are linked together, bolted in place and welded shut,” The 9th Floor account tweeted. This explanation seems to make sense, given that they were not surrounded by any other containers.

While politicians can have their say on the subject of immigration, it doesn’t change the fact the authorities and the locals face a difficult situation due to the high volume of migrants crossing the border.

Arizona is commended for making the border region better.
