The hits just keep on coming for the Democrat Party as this year’s Supreme Court term comes to a close. The decisions are clearly the main focus. Roe V. Wadebeing overturned. The Second Amendment being affirmed. And the EPA was prevented from becoming its own fourth branch.
The next thing to be decided was the future term of cases. The left is already losing the love of its heart in one case: Moore vs. Harper.
BREAKING: Moore v Harper has been heard by the Supreme Court. It is an appel advocating extreme interpretations of the Constitution, which would make it easier for states to suppress voting, to draw unjust election districts, and to allow partisan interference in the ballot count.

Moore v. Harper is the case. It challenges the North Carolina Supreme Court to strike down legislature’s extremist partisangerrymanders. Already, we know that there will be four votes in the legislative election. https://t.co/6Hwvb1yvgi

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took the news especially hard, declaring the Supreme Court was enacting a “coup” and seeking to end presidential elections. As I wrote about Elizabeth Warren’s doom-spelling reaction to the EPA decision, the strategy of proclaiming everything the end of the world is incredibly stupid because then nothing is the end of the world. AOC does even begin to understand that, and she’s having a banner week of rhetorical freakouts.
A judicial coup is underway.
The Court will signal that they will be coming for the Presidential election next if Congress or the President do not stop the Court.
All our leaders – regardless of party – must recognize this Constitutional crisis for what it is. https://t.co/DzoIh4n08D

You might wonder why Democrats are upset about this Supreme Court case being heard. It is because they see this as an attack on their ability to control elections.
Specifically, during the 2020 election, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court decided to override the state’s constitution and its legislature in order to allow universal mail-in balloting. Although it was clearly an illegal and abusive decision at that time, Joe Biden was able to use it against Donald Trump. Democrats loved the move. If the Supreme Court ends up curtailing the power of the courts to override elected legislatures in making voting laws, it would end the left’s best tool in ensuring they can stack the deck, and we just can’t have that, can we?
AOC and her associates would like the courts to be able to decide voting policy without input from voters. This will mean they no longer have the power to decide election outcomes, as they did likely in Pennsylvania. Similar applies to the drawing of congressional district lines. Court after court tried to stop the drawing of congressional districts in the last census cycle. Most of these attempts were made in Republican states by leftwing activists groups. In the end, enough things went the GOP’s way to limit the damage, but it could have been much worse.
To summarize, while Democrats scream about “democracy,” all the Supreme Court has done is once again hand power back to the people. And frankly, after 50 years of the high court delivering blow after blow to conservatives, it’s pathetic to see the left behave the way they are. It’s like jumping into a pool.
