Miles Taylor is one of those Trump-loathing “Republicans” that the liberal media likes to trot out. They are the kind that will take aim at other party members.
Taylor, “Anonymous”, was the one who in 2018 wrote an opinion piece for the New York TimesVaingloriously, he claimed to be part of the anti Trump “resistance” inside the White House. The time was, The Times described Taylor as an “senior official” in Trump’s administration. But when the curtain was pulled back, Taylor was revealed to have been at the time of writing the op-ed nothing more than a mere deputy chief of staff at DHS: a “low-level flunkie,” as our former colleague Rich Noyes put it.
It was also made into a book deal — ka-ching. These Trump-bashing hills are full of gold.
We caught Taylor, the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, on CNN in September. He had promised China that they would give advance notice if President Trump ordered an attack.
Yesterday was then Nicolle Wallace took Taylor to her MSNBC show, where she attacked Republicans generally and Ronny Jack in particular. Jackson is a former White House doctor for Trump and Obama, who is currently a Republican Congressman from Texas.
Wallace was on the warpath because Jackson suggested that Democrats will use the new Omicron variant as a “Midterm Election Variant,” a pretext for loose absentee voting in the 2022 elections.
Taylor understood exactly why Wallace invited him to the show and promptly provided criticisms of Jackson and other Republicans. After Jackson was called a “twobit Texas congressman”,” Taylor continued:
Ronny Jackson wouldn’t put a Bandaid on me. . . Republicans have literally murdered their base of supporters with disinformation.”
Taylor’s honesty is the subject of many questions. He describes himself as Republican. Taylor admitted that he donated and supported Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign for the presidency.
Remember, Obama was not running against any of these far-right, scary Republicans. John McCain was his opponent. If you ditched McCain to support Obama—the man with the most liberal voting record in the Senate—it’s fair to say you ain’t no Republican. Question: if McCain wasn’t good enough for Taylor, did he turn around and vote for Trump in 2016—or did he seek and accept a position in his administration under false pretenses?
Then there is the issue of Taylor has flat-out lied to his identity.Anderson Cooper of CNN interviewed Taylor in 2020. Taylor who was at that time a paid contributor to CNN, said that Anonymous had not been revealed. CNN stated that Taylor would “remain” a CNN contributor after the lies were exposed.
Taylor, however, doesn’t mention CNN affiliations. Twitter profileHe describes himself in his LinkedIn profile as having beenCNN contributor for “2020, less that a year”
This sounds like CNN has quietly dismissed Taylor. The apparent rejection by CNN is not enough to derail MSNBC and Nicolle Wallace. . . As long as he is willing to consistently spew anti-Republican insults.
Taylor could be better off slipping back in anonymity.
Miles Taylor’s accusation of Republicans “literally murdering the base of their support” was sponsored in part by IHOP (Abbott, Amazon and Verizon), as well as MSNBC.

4:00 PM ETNICOLLEWALLACE: Miles Taylor, who was once the chief of staff at DHS and is now the executive director and co-founder of Renew America, will be joining us for our discussion.
. . .
Und ich frage, wo do I get the insatiable need for disinformation? Is it their desire to risk the lives of those they serve?
MILES TAYLOR : It comes from people who care more about politics and less about public health. . . I have a question: Who in the Republican Party will they trust with respect to health care? You’ll see them not listening to career epidemiologists or non-partisan experts like the one you saw in your previous segment.
They appear to be paying attention to what we are saying Ronny Jacksons is a two-bit Texas congressman.I do not know the story of how this man got his medical license. . . What do I mean? Ronny Jackson would not trust me to give me a band-aid.
. . .
These voices are a threat to public safety. With disinformation, they are literally killing their support base.
