Kay Ivey of Alabama looks exactly like the grandma you always wished to be. Why is California Governor Gavin Newsom trying to get after Kay Ivey?
It’s apparent he’s on some kind of high. Whether natural, pharmaceutical, or chemical is anyone’s guess. Assemblyman Kevin Kiley, R-CA 03, rightly points out that this latest screed deserves to be called “facepalm worthy”.
Our Governor has gotten into a dispute with Governor Alabama and posted yet another offensive rant about “red states” out of nowhere. It is embarrassing.

Newsom talks about being, “misled. Dare I say, being lied to,” about educational choice. Is that his goal? Alabama, and Governor Ivey’s choice to spend federal dollars on SuperMax prison facilities rather than education.
WATCH:
Lotta talk about education & “choice” from these GOP governors.
Let’s examine the choices they make.
CA provided college savings accounts for 3.5 million children when states were given new federal money.
Alabama used it to fund two large prisons.

Let’s talk about Gavin Newsom’s actions toward educational “choice,” shall we?
In 2020, when California parents were begging him to reopen schools because their children were suffering from learning loss, lack of socialization, and families were falling into poverty because one earner was sidelined managing their children’s Zoom learning, Newsom’s own children were in private school, receiving in-person learning.
“Gov. Gavin Newsom said Friday his children have returned to in-person learning under a “phased-in approach” as many schools across the state remain shuttered due to Covid-19 — including nearly all public schools in Sacramento County where the governor lives.
So, the only one who had a choice in their child’s education was him. Is the rest of society? “Let Them Eat at the French Laundry!” Oh, wait….
His Hairfulness, along with his funding sources in teachers unions, decided in 2021 that children could resume in-person learning but they had to be fully vaccinated and masked. Protesting parents and children were treated as political prisoners. We are glad they were.
So if we look at Newsom’s actions, they scream hypocrite.
Despite Newsom receiving a token educational excellence award, California’s ranking in education is nothing to brag about.
In March 2022, a Scholaroo survey ranked California No. In terms of the most educational states, California is ranked 44th out of fifty. This study also revealed some interesting facts. Alabama came in at No. 1 in graduation rates. California didn’t make the Top 10.
California schools are also ranked No. 49 in the amount of bullying children suffer. These children seem to be following the lead of this governor.
Hair Gel was immediately taken out of the hands by Governor Grandma Ivey. You see, no matter how much Newsom likes to troll these Red State governors, the facts cannot be denied: No one is leaving these states to come to California—just the opposite.
And yet, Governor, folks are making their choice, leaving California in droves and calling “red states” like Alabama home.
Down here, we’re focused on public safety. And if we’re talking covid relief, we invested billions in our students. Common sense — that’s the Alabama way. https://t.co/2vxSTNcmCW

The California Legislative Analyst’s Office released 2020 IRS information that shows 260,000 taxpayers absconded the state. Even more crucial is the fact that it covers all tax brackets and not just those with lower income. It begs the question: What will 2021 look like? So all this begging businesses to come back and talk of “California freedom,” doesn’t seem to be working. This is actually a shining light that exposes every crack and crevice of a governor who wants to do everything for his own aspirations and for no one else but himself, not for the people of the state.
Newsom thinks he’s going to be president, but ain’t nobody gonna vote for that. There is no one with any common sense. Governor Grandma clearly stated this. There’s a lot more people with common sense outside of California than in it. For those who remain, it’s why we are where we are.
As a parting shot, just on the heels of Recall Gascòn failing to qualify for the November 2022 ballot, we have California’s growing crime element, especially since Newsom is on the side of releasing criminals rather than convicting them and locking them up.
Los Angeles County might prefer to have more people in prison and more facilities for them, rather than having more crime on the streets.
Equity at work. California values. Thieves steal thousands of $’s of liquor from a supermarket and walk right out with zero repercussions celebrating DA George Gascon’s recall not qualifying for the ballot. @jackfrootnews pic.twitter.com/CdEKWVyhFx

Yes, Governor Newsom. Actions speak louder that words.
We are looking forward to meeting you.
