Randi Weingarten is the reprehensible head of the American Federation of Teachers who, last year, told America that teachers were “exhausted.” She got raked over hot coals by parents who reminded Weingarten that their children were “zooming” about eight hours, a week, with her “exhausted” teachers. She displayed no virtue signalling to her parents.
She pushed to keep masks on children when the science was clear — that children were, by and large, at the very lowest of risk groups.
For close to two decades, Weingarten has been consistently wrong. Last year she advocated for schools to be closed and disinfected in order to eliminate surface transmission, even though it was obvious that the science proved almost impossible to detect.
Kamala Harris was often shocked to hear her engaging in non-answer word-salads.
Weingarten hilariously acted as a “school opening” champ while advocating for schools to remain closed. It was all “for the kids,” when it was all for unionized teachers. In short, she’s awful.
Weingarten now moves into another wrong area: geopolitical virtue signalling.
Weingarten uploaded a Wednesday photo showing her and her vice president, Cruella DeVille. Both are holding a “We stand with Ukraine” flag sign. Except that isn’t the Ukraine flag colors. These colors are reversed.
A TEACHERS Union @AFTunionThe printed version #Ukranian flag upside down for their political grandstanding…and then horribly photoshopped the picture hoping you wouldn’t catch it. They are the reason our public schools fail. The best effort award was awarded to me. pic.twitter.com/djXgyRFypu

You are not to be underestimated. The people who want to tell you how to educate your children on sex, gender, and geopolitics decided to post a horribly photoshopped photo of them holding the same wrong sign – but they “fixed it” with someone’s six-year-old layering in the “right colors.” The fact that they needed to virtue-signal outweighed the fact that they all had the signs wrong.
Weingarten tweeted also about Ukraine and mispelled Ukraine.

Her VP was doing yeoman’s work on virtue-signaling, while Weingarten was misspelling Ukraine, and retweeting the “Don’t Say Gay” lie:

No worries America – we have top people in charge of public school teacher unions. They are the top. The best, the most powerful people.
