Adam Schiff (D. CA) has a history in which he spins wild stories and bends the evidence to support his conspiratorial theories. That was most noticeable during Donald Trump’s first impeachment, in which Schiff lied during a hearing about the contents of the now-famous phone call between Trump and Ukraine’s president. During the Russian collusion scam, the California Democrat was caught circulating fake Donald Trump Jr. email addresses.
However, Schiff never faced any consequence despite his lack of credibility due to repeated acts. How can a person who is committing heinous acts continue doing so? They do more bad things. Yesterday, at a hearing on January 6, 2017, Schiff was accused of doctoring text between Mark Meadows (Jim Jordan) to promote a false narrative.
Schiff didn’t doctor the text message, you guys. He only fabricated a screenshot that didn’t exist, deleted half a sentence, added punctuation where there was none, deleted two paragraphs, and had no clue it wasn’t even written by Jordan. https://t.co/xsW4GNft92

Adam Schiff claimed Monday that he had proof that Mark Meadows was the former White House chief-of-staff to Adam Schiff. He wanted to tell former Vice President Mike Pence, to overturn 2020’s presidential election results.
Schiff did not misrepresent both the contents and source of the text message. He even altered original text messages that were obtained from The Federalist for review.
You can see the actual images of the fabricated text at The Federalist, but here’s a description of how they differed significantly from the real one. Schiff and his crew did an incredible job on it.
Schiff not only falsified the source of the text message but also altered the graphic and message that he presented onscreen during his statement.
Meadows received the full text message from Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) on Monday evening, Jan. 5. It was considerably longer than Schiff had read, and Schiff added punctuation to places where none was needed to create the impression that Jordan was instructing Meadows to send instructions to Pence about how to deal with the election vote certification.
This is where Schiff’s imbecility gets exposed. In the rush to doctor the text in order to push his false narrative, he missed the fact that the message in the text wasn’t actually from Jordan. It was actually Joseph Schmitz’s forward, who wanted to present a legal argument regarding the election certification.
Whether you agree with that legal argument or not regarding the certification of the election (you can read it here), Jordan was passing the information along to get Meadows’ reaction. They were not, in fact, hatching a plan to overthrow the election — as Schiff tried to insinuate with his false framing and doctoring of the text.
In short, Schiff was not only caught red-handed lying about the contents of the “bombshell” text message, but he couldn’t even manage to attribute it to the proper person.
He is corrupt, and Washington supports him. To punish his political enemies, Schiff uses Congress’ investigative power. Now, if he shared a meme or told a joke about Ilhan Omar, then he’d really be in trouble. As it stands, I’d guess Republicans do absolutely nothing to Schiff when they regain power next year, and that’s a crying shame.
