For the second Sunday in a row, ABC’s This Week spent a good portion of the program ringing their hands over the Supreme Court’s historic decision to overturn Roe V. Wade with one guest even referring to the court as “a malignant force in the country.”
Martha Raddatz, co-anchor, kicked off segment with a mention of a poll that allegedly shows that “only 1 in 4 Americans say they have a great deal of confidence in the court.”
Raddatz asked the next question “how significant is that when you look to the Supreme Court?”
In response, panelist and ABC national politics reporter Brittany Shepherd whined that “there’s recent polling and recent studies came out that says the current makeup of the Supreme Court is about 75 percent more conservative than the average American.”
Shepherd then proclaimed this “means these Americans are going to be feeling disenfranchised and apathetic about the state of the Supreme Court.”
Time MagazineMolly Ball, the national correspondent of Molly Ball also agreed. “on a very big picture level Americans are feeling like there’s nothing that they can trust. There’s almost a feeling that society is in crisis. Elections are distrusted by many. So we could be heading for a sort of larger reckoning in terms of just how this country functions.”
New York TimesAlex Burns was the reporter who attacked the court. He also promoted the notion that Joe Biden should run against the Democrats.
“So when you talk to Democrats who are younger, you talk to Democrats who are more Progressive, there’s a sense that the party should get out there and run against these sort of priests in black robes and there’s a lot of questions about whether Biden is going to be up for doing that” Burns said. “Molly mentioned declining trust for institutions generally If there’s one word that you hear over and over again to describe Joe Biden is institutionalist.”
Burns was then asked by Burns if Biden is “going to be comfortable going to these swing states in the fall and campaigning against the Supreme Court institutionally as a malignant force in the country?”
Be aware that these discussions and attacks against the Supreme Court wouldn’t be taking place if it was confirmed. Roe V. Wade. According to the leftist media the court is only illegitimate and a “malignant force” if it rules against the leftist orthodoxy.
This segment was possible thanks to Tums. This makes sense, as you may need some to soothe the pain from this video. The following information was provided by them to let them know what Democrat Party propaganda is funded.

July 3, 2022
Eastern 9:50 a.m.MARTHA RADDATZ What is even more significant, when you consider that many of those Supreme Court decisions occurred before this week. That’s what I meant.
BRITTANY SHEPHERD: Yeah I think there’s two levels of significance. The national picture level is the most important. According to recent surveys and polling, the Supreme Court currently has a 75% conservative composition. This means that these Americans will be disenfranchised from the Supreme Court and feel apathetic. And the Supreme Court doesn’t have legislative powers that Congress has, doesn’t have a budget, doesn’t have an army like the President. The Supreme Court and Congress have an index of public confidence that allows states to continue following their jurisprudence. They need the public’s support in order to actually bolster what they do have and get things done.
(…)
MOLLY BALL : That’s okay. But for many, it contributes directly to the current crisis of trust within all our institutions. We see that voters are losing faith in the courts. For a long period, people don’t have a lot confidence in Congress or the media.
And then, you know, coming out of COVID, coming out of the 2020 election, this sense of chaos, the sense that Joe Biden was elected to restore sort of normalcy that didn’t happen. With inflation on the rise, many people feel very uneasy about their situation and don’t trust anyone. At a broad level, Americans seem to feel that there is no trust in anyone. There’s almost a feeling that society is in disarray. Many people don’t believe in elections. It is possible that we are heading towards a bigger reckoning regarding how our country operates, I think.
ALEX BURNS – Martha, if you could.
RADDATZ: Please, please.
BURNS – I think, if you talk with Democratic officials and strategists you will get the sense that the Supreme Court because of the reasons you have just mentioned is a tremendous political villain for the party both today and moving forward. Most people don’t know who the Supreme Court justices are. They are usually most familiar with the controversial ones. They’re a set of largely obscure characters guarded by this sort of priesthood of elite lawyers, right? So, while they may not be a strong force in American society, the institution trust in which they hold is declining.
When you speak to Democrats that are younger and to Democrats that are more Progressive you get the sense that they should run against those priests dressed in black, but there are many questions about Biden’s willingness to take on that challenge. Molly mentioned declining trust for institutions generally If there’s one word that you hear over and over again to describe Joe Biden is institutionalist. Are these the states he will be most comfortable visiting in the Fall?
