ABC, CBS Ignore Report CDC is Hiding COVID Data from Public

Sunday will be the New York TimesPublished a disturbing report that revealed that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had admitted to the public that certain COVID vaccine data wasn’t disclosed because of the potential for misinformation. The CDC’s open admission that it hides vital health information is huge news. However, NBC is the only night news station to think so. Nightly NewsBeing the only one to report on it. ABC Television and ABC Radio. World News TonightCBS Evening NewsBoth sides ignored the truth. 

World News TonightThey decided that it was more efficient to hype a fourth COVID shot for their viewers. “We also have news on COVID and the pandemic tonight,”David Muir, anchor, reported the news in a breathless manner. “The FDA is now looking at the possibility of authorizing a fourth dose of vaccine, another booster after one study showed that the third shot, that booster, offered 91 percent protection against hospitalization, very effective, but also that it falls to about 78 percent after four to five months.” 

Muir then called Trevor Ault as a reporter to discuss the matter. “50 percent of eligible Americans still haven’t received”Noting the existence of a COVID vaccination “more than 85 million people.” 

CBS News – More Evening NewsJericka Duncan, the fill-in host, huffed about Boris Johnson being Britain’s Prime Minster “announced the end of all COVID restrictions.”Duncan became panicked at the news that Duncan had made this difficult decision. “despite warnings from scientists who say that decision would weaken the country’s defenses against the virus.”Duncan, in other words thinks that pandemic lockdowns need to last forever. 

Meanwhile, Nightly NewsMiguel Almaguer, the nation’s correspondent, reported on the astonishing revelations made by the CDC.

Tonight, The New York Times claims that the CDC isn’t publishing large amounts of data. This includes information about the efficacy of boosters for young Americans or signs of the disease in the wastewater. According to the agency, some data may have been misinterpreted.  

Many Americans are skeptical of the safety and efficacy of COVID vaccines. The CDC has failed to provide complete information, while liberal media cover will not help.

TREVOR AUT: Dr. Peter Marks, the FDA’s chief vaccine officer, told “The New York Times” that the best strategy is to combine the next booster with next year’s influenza vaccine and boost as many people as possible. However, he along with other officials from the health sector insist that data is still lacking to support a recommendation for a fourth dose. Recent CDC research found that Moderna boosters from Pfizer are extremely effective. They offer 91 percent protection against hospitalizations. But, after four to six months, the percentage drops to 78 %. 

Dr. Anthony Fauci: That’s pretty impressive at 78 percent. This is likely to fall sometime. It’s impossible to know. It’s our hope that it will hold steady up there. However, if the price drops you should be prepared to modify your recommendation.

For those with compromised immune systems, a fourth shot may be recommended. The overall pace of booster shots has been slowed. More than 85 million Americans are still eligible for booster shots. However, 50 percent have not received them. David: The FDA hasn’t yet provided a timeline, however Dr. Fauci said they are closely monitoring potential needs in real time and will make updates as new information becomes available. David?

MIGUEL ALMAUER: The dramatic fall in hospitalizations, along with the rapid decline in infection rates (down 64%), could pave the path for the CDC this week to roll back its national masking guidance. Although it is not known if the changes will affect public transportation like the subway and airplanes, they could have an effect on them. California and New York have high pressure to remove children from the classroom despite their low levels of vaccines and the CDC’s recommendation to keep them.

GOVERNOR GAVIN NewsSOM: A date will be announced, the date that combines destiny and government. They will take off the masks. 

ALMAGUER: The CDC is already being scrutinized by The New York Times. Tonight, The Times claims that the agency doesn’t publish large amounts of data, such as the effectiveness of boosters to younger Americans or signs of the disease in the wastewater. Agency told the newspaper that some of its raw data might be misinterpreted.

DR. PAUL OFFIT: The CDC has an obligation to give us excellent data. If they do not have sufficient data to validate or verify their claims, I believe they should.

ALMAGUER: As our nation remains eager for a new normal, several new studies show three doses of a COVID vaccine or even two could offer longer protection from serious illness and death.
