A Call Rings Out for Bill Maher to Be Fired – Opinion

He’s finally done it — Bill Maher has gone too far for some on the Left.

As covered by RedState’s Nick Arama, Bill talked transgenderism on last Friday’s The Real Time

Witness the Anti-Wakeness Warning (Language Warning).

“If something about the human race is changing at a previously unprecedented rate, we at least have to discuss it. Broken down over time, the LGBT population of America seems to be roughly doubling every generation.”

“If we follow this trajectory,” he forecasted, “we will all be gay in 2054.”

Bill believes it’s a quirk worth inquiry:

“When things change this much, this fast, people are allowed to ask, ‘What’s up with that?’ All the babies are in the wrong bodies? Was there a mix-up at the plant like Cap’n Crunch’s ‘Oops! All Berries’?”

He was a trampler when he transgressed the children:

“[I]t’s okay to ask questions about something that’s very new and involves children. … Because we’re literally experimenting on children.”

Some science was dropped by the Democrat:

“[C]ommon sense should tell you that when you reverse the course of raging hormones, there’s going to be problems. If you are interested in a strong skeleton, we know that it can inhibit bone development. … This isn’t just a lifestyle decision; it’s medical. Weighing trade-offs is not bigotry.”

Bill even went to bat for Abigail Shrier’s book about the transgender trend among young girls, You can’t reverse irreversible damage. “If this spike in trans children is all-natural,” he offered, “why is it regional? Either Ohio is shaming them or California is creating them.”

The lifelong liberal’s analysis didn’t sit universally well. David Kilmnick is the head of LGBT Network’s advocacy group.

David, in a Wednesday piece that was posted to Advocate on Wednesday, spoke out about spewing Bill as he bulldozed him:

Maher said the number of youth identifying as LGBTQ+ is rising because it’s “trendy,” while he spewed other harmful, homophobic and transphobic rhetoric. [He] continued his vitriolic commentary by taking several more potshots at LGBTQ+ youth, including claims that society was “experimenting” on children through the use of puberty blockers and genital surgery as a means to perpetuate culture wars.

David’s fully fed-up and all out of chalk:

This was 1993. I believed ignorance would explain it. Education would have helped people to change their thinking and be more critical. But today is different, and the alarm bell is ringing — loud! The attacks on our community in legislation and the media go beyond ignorance. They are hateful and purposeful and deliberate. … We need to speak up and hold everyone accountable, even those who purport to be “liberal and progressive.

Like many left-wingers, the man waxed poetic about whistles.

Maher’s words are also nothing more than a dog whistle for those who seek to roll back the rights of the LGBTQ+ community which we are seeing happen throughout our nation.

David, curiously, floated these thoughts while trying to defend the virtues of surgery and permanently-altering medications.

“Our LGBTQ+ youth are perfect just the way they are — they need no fixing.”

Grab tacks

“[I]Am urging the LGBTQ+ community, and all those who support LGBTQ+ youth, to boycott HBO. Bill Maher: Real-TimeIt is taken off its platform. … HBO must take immediate action and remove Bill Maher and simultaneously take action to let every LGBTQ+ youth know they are loved. … Call on HBO now to take immediate action and remove In Real TimeFrom its list. Maher simply went too far. … It’s the least we could do as we get ready to celebrate Pride.”

It seems that the sociopolitical Left is in chaos. There’s a skirmish of two schools — old and new. Bill Maher’s not nearly neo-.

Apropos of being behind the times, Maher might be underestimating the eccentricity of the age: Progressively, it isn’t that youngsters believe they’re born in the wrong bodies. Institutions are simply giving them a choice: You can be anything; construct your own creature like you’re at Build-A-Bear.

It’s a binary that offers such an opportunity.

As I’ve previously posed:

Beyond men and women, the cutting-edge concept of gender identity isn’t enmeshed with sex. A new category’s been created, and we’re being told to come up with all-new identifiers. This appears not to be a result of dysphoria but rather from participation trophies or the era that was icons. Thanks to social media and online gaming, we’re screen names, emojis, and colorful characters. They are a way to show our personality and inspire our creative flair. Only a matter of times before we chose special people to share in real life.

Take a bite of cake:

Bill: Will he #cancel? It will be interesting to see. American businesses aren’t cooperating with others, while some are increasing their efforts to do so. At this point, it’s anyone’s ball game. You could also play the front hole.

Keep checking back for more.
