According to the White House, President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19 again this Saturday. He had previously been negative multiple times throughout the week.
Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the physician to the president, said in a statement that this “rebound” occurs in a “small percentage of patients treated with PAXLOVID.” According to CNBC, that is the case; a small percentage of people do see COVID-19 resurface after taking the treatment.
Biden was first positive after testing on July 21st.
“Folks, today I tested positive for COVID again. Only a few people experience this. I’ve got no symptoms but I am going to isolate for the safety of everyone around me. I’m still at work, and will be back on the road soon.”
Folks! Today I test positive for COVID once again.
Only a few people experience this.
I’ve got no symptoms but I am going to isolate for the safety of everyone around me.
I’m still at work, and will be back on the road soon.
