Rittenhouse Creates The Media Accountability Project to Sue for DEFAMATION

In a Monday appearance on Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson TonightKyle Rittenhouse, a liberal media hate object, went further than just declaring that he would be suing the media over the lies they spread about him. Instead, he and his legal team had set up an organization, The Media Accountability Project (TMAP), that would take up his cases and the cases of others who the media heinously targeted with lies and misinformation in an attempt to ruin their lives.

And that’s exactly what Rittenhouse promised ahead of the appearance. “Accountability is coming” he exclaimed multiple times in tweets. Such lawsuits were hinted at back in November when Rittenhouse told Carlson he felt the media were “defaming” him and hurting his future.

“Me and my team have decided to launch The Media Accountability Project as a tool to help fundraise and hold the media accountable for the lies they said and deal with them in court,” he told Carlson Monday night.

Carlson was curious as to why there wasn’t already an organization that handled this kind of thing already. Rittenhouse didn’t know but he was adamant that he didn’t want other innocent people to be victimized by the liberal media:

CARLSON: Why isn’t there a group like this that exists already, since the media so often are not observers, they’re players, they’re participants in the news, why hasn’t someone done this before?

RITTENHOUSE: That’s a good question, Tucker, and I’m not sure, to be honest. It’s not something I want for anyone to experience. Because I didn’t want anyone to have to experience what I experienced, I will hold them responsible for their actions.

On his short list of people, the organization is looking to sue on his behalf, Rittenhouse said they’re “looking at quite a few politicians, celebrities, athletes, Whoopi Goldberg is on the list.”

That specific callout of Goldberg was because “[s]he called me a murderer after I was acquitted by a jury of my peers.” That also included “Cenk [Uygur] from The Young Turks, they called me a murder before a verdict and continues to call me a murderer.”

And for those who called him a “white supremacist,” Rittenhouse warned: “They’re all going to be held accountable and we’re going to handle them in a courtroom.”

You can find out more at Daily MailNicholas Sandmann, a former student at Covington Catholic High School, wrote an opinion piece before Rittenhouse’s trial ended. He advised Rittenhouse about how to sue the media and how to get ready for the challenges and triumphs.

“Again, the chances are still low and nothing is guaranteed in a defamation trial. Kyle should also be prepared for a long trial which will be present in his mind for years,” Sandmann said, noting he still had six outstanding suits after three years. “So, if Kyle is prepared to take on another burden in his early life, with the acceptance that it might result in nothing, I answer, give it a shot and hold the media accountable.”

Many believed Rittenhouse was going to take down the liberal media machine on his own. But few foresaw an organization dedicated to combating the media’s lies to spring from it.

TUCKER CARLSON: I can’t think of many people who’ve been at receiving end of this much sinister lying from so-called news organizations as you have. What are your plans?

KYLE RITTENHOUSE : Tucker, thanks for having me. The Media Accountability Project is a project that me and my team created to fundraise, hold media outlets accountable for lying and take them to court.

CARLSON: Interesting. The idea being that you might sue news agencies that lie about other people, perhaps like Covington Catholic children, is this the plan?

RITTENHOUSE: Yes, sir. We’re going to be holding them accountable, Tucker.

CARLSON: Do you – I guess I have to ask kind of a dumb question — Why isn’t there a group like this that exists already, since the media so often are not observers, they’re players, they’re participants in the news, why hasn’t someone done this before?

RITTENHOUSE: That’s a good question, Tucker, and I’m not sure, to be honest. It’s not something I want for anyone to experience. Because I didn’t want anyone to have to experience what I experienced, I will hold them responsible for their actions.

CARLSON: Yeah. They tried to imprison you for the rest of your life; it wasn’t coverage it was advocacy. There are many potential victims to sue you. Will any of these news agencies be sued?

RITTENHOUSE: Well, right now we’re looking at quite a few politicians, celebrities, athletes, Whoopi Goldberg is on the list. After I was cleared by the jury made up of peers, she called me a killer. After I was acquitted by a jury of my peers, she continued to say it, along with others like Cenk, from The Young Turks. They called me a killer before there was a verdict, and continue to call me that way.

CARLSON: Interesting. What about those who called you a white-supremacist? It makes it very difficult to find a job for your entire life if you’re a white-supremacist. What will you do?

RITTENHOUSE: Absolutely. We are going to hold everybody who’s lied about me accountable. As an example, everybody who called me white supremacists lied. They’re all going to be held accountable and we’re going to handle them in a courtroom.

CARLSON: I am Kyle Rittenhouse and appreciate your announcing it tonight. Media Accountability Project. And, of course, we’re rooting for justice like we always are. Thank you so much. We are glad to have you.

RITTENHOUSE : Tucker, thank you. TMAP.org allows anyone to donate and join the fight.

TUCKER: Thanks a lot.
