Gov. Abbott Shares Positive News as Texas Hostage Situation Ends – Opinion

RedState reported earlier on Saturday on the hostage situation at Colleyville in Texas. The hostage took place in Colleyville near Fort Worth. A man who claimed to be related with a terrorist held four hostages in a synagogue.

Nick Arama, Nick’s colleague, shared the news that one hostage was released in negotiations with the man who was thought to have been armed. ABC News’ Aaron Katersky also updated us with information that Aafia Saiddiqui’s brother, an attorney denied that he was responsible for the Colleyville manhunt.

Now, in a positive update from Republican Governor Greg Abbott, the situation has ended — with no injuries or deaths among the hostages, Fox News reports.

Three remaining hostages at a Texas synagogue were “out alive and safe,” ending an ordeal that began hours earlier, according to a Twitter message late Saturday from Gov. Greg Abbott.
