Joe Scarborough ridiculed Donald Trump’s overly optimistic prediction at the start of the pandemic about when COVID would disappear. The list includes, Scarborough repeatedly repeated Trump’s misguided prediction that COVID would end “by April,” which Scarborough kept repeating.
Scarborough repeated these lines so often that it became a joke. Morning Joe Joe recycled them so much that the entire show segment was dedicated to Joe ad nauseam,Mika Brzezinski, wife and co-host, was in exasperation.
However, now Joe Biden has the presidency shoe on his foot. here was Joe Wednesday morning—making the same prediction:
Mika: “I,I,I said it before. Inflation will eventually end, I think. This could make things worse. The price of oil may rise to $100 per barrel. You can also: We may see another increase in COVID. However, I think that COVID is going to surge in spring. We are so proud of all our achievements. I really do believe—and this is the importance, the important thing—that Americans will see normalcy returning, minus shutdowns or COVID mandates. We will definitely see it next year, I’m sure. This will be a benefit to the party that is in power.”
Scarborough spoke during a session that felt more like a group counseling session. Panelists reassured each other that the Democratic fortunes that are currently in decline will turn around before the election. Mocking optimism is no longer the liberal game. Optimism can now be justified — politically.
But the panel obstinately focused on two issues: COVID and inflation. The panel failed to consider other critical issues Americans are concerned about. They ignored the need for a more controlled border, immigration and radical education in schools. [see, Governor-elect Youngkin], rampant crime due to soft-on-crime Democrat politicians, etc.
There is no sign that Democrats’ extreme views on these issues will be “wiped out” soon. Democrats may be more likely to “wash away” Congress.
Everybody hopes COVID will “go away” at some point. Biden, however, boasted that he would “end the pandemic” in 2020’s final presidential debate. Biden claimed that anyone who has caused so many deaths in America should be fired as president of the United States of America.
What now?
MSNBC and other media held Trump accountable for each COVID-related death. This year, however? Covid-19 claimed the lives of 362,208 Americans by the end 2020. Yesterday’s pandemic total toll stood at 773,779. So far, the virus has claimed 411,571 American lives. They now hold Trump and the “unvaccinated”, responsible.
However, the facts about the virus were not available at the time Trump made his forecasts. Scientists were predicting that COVID could be reduced, or even eliminated, by warmer temperatures. Scarborough should be humble when he repeats Trump’s prediction, as he mocked Trump so cruelly.
Joe Scarborough echoing Donald Trump’s prediction that Covid would be gone by Spring was sponsored in part by Gold Bond, Rocket Mortgage, E-Trade, and Servpro.
