Since the Waukesha attacker didn’t fit the liberal media’s narrative that “An angry White man is the most frightening thing in America right now,” the broadcast networks couldn’t move on from the attack fast enough. Yet, it doesn’t end there Special Report, fill-in anchor Mike Emanuel didn’t play CNN’s game. “Tonight, a Fox exclusive. Our Digital team has secured the first interview with the man accused of killing six people by driving an SUV into a crowd at a Christmas parade,” he announced.
“When visited in jail by reporters from Fox News Digital, Darrell brooks said he has been ‘dehumanized.’ He went on to say, ‘I just feel like I’m being monster-demonized,’” international correspondent Mike Tobin said. “In the jailhouse interview, Brooks didn’t explain what motivated the attack. He did say no one has been to see him, not even his mother.”
Tobin revealed Brooks’ long-standing and documented mental illness history, which he stopped receiving support for once he became an adult. The court was also warned about this history.

MIKE TOBIN. When Fox News Digital reporters visited him in prison, Darrell Brooks stated that he had been dehumanized. He went on to say, “I just feel like I’m being monster-demonized.”
Brooks now faces six charges of intentional murder, with each possibility for life imprisonment. Brooks was allegedly accused of driving his SUV through the Waukesha Christmas Parade crowd on the 21st. Brooks was not able to explain why he attacked. Brooks said that no one, even his mother, has ever visited him.
She did release a statement to the local CBS affiliate stating: “Darryl has suffered from mental health issues since he was very young. In those years, he received counseling and was on medication.” That stopped when Brooks became an adult.
His adult life is filled with violent crimes and occurred in at least three states, according to court records. Records show that he was behind in child support payments, even though he had three children. His current debt is more than $41,000. The mother of one child told Fox Digital Brooks has always been “in and out of jail,” he was “not a present father.”
In a child support case from 2009, he wrote to Court Commissioner Laura Lau, “I feel I was treated unfairly.” In a 2011 case, he wrote to Waukesha County Circuit Judge Thomas Piper that he failed to pay child support because he lost his benefits: “The reason my benefits stopped was because I was being incarcerated.”

Brooks was bailed last year after being arrested. Brooks was again arrested in November. His court papers state that he was not under medication and is very likely to commit a re-offense. He was still released just days prior to the attack on the parade. Mike, I’m back.
