CNN Continues Coverup of Don Lemon Tipping Off Smollett on Police Not Buying Story

CNN finally fired Chris Cuomo after Andrew received extensive support regarding various scandals from him.

It is easy to imagine that the “Most Trusted Name in News,” would be vigilant for any journalistic mistakes made by its anchors. 

Amazingly, Nicholas Fondacaro reports.CNN allowed Don Lemon to air an interview on last night’s show about the Smollett case. . . It is worth noting that Lemon had himself tipped Smollett off. Chicago police did not believe his account of being victim to a homophobic, racist attack.

This is journalistic malpractice taken to theater-of-the-absurd heights!

CNN continues to cover up its crimes this morning. 

• Day of the NewLemon was not mentioned in the 6 a.m. segment of the Smollett trial.
• Day of the NewThe trial is not mentioned at 7 a.m.
• Day of the NewSmollett’s eighth hour segment. Again, no mention of Lemon. Paul Callan, CNN legal analyst, stated that this trial “has the makings of an amazing show: money drugs sex and Empire.” Callan failed to mention “and mind-blowing journalistic malpractice by this network!”

CNN’s exclusion of Lemon-Smollett is not only unacceptable, but it is also understandable at a basic level.

How can MSNBC cover up the Lemon-Smollett link? Morning JoeThe trial was reported today without a mention of Lemon. The 6 am hour.LCharles Coleman, an egal expert, found Smolletts’ testimony “very odd.” 

Is there a mutually assured destruction pact between CNN and MSNBC?

CNN covering up the fact that at his trial, Jussie Smollett testified that CNN anchor Don Lemon tipped him off that the Chicago police weren’t buying his claim to have been the victim of a racist, homophobic, attack was sponsored in part by Liberty Mutual and Land Rover.
