National Public Radio airs the funniest joke every day on their evening news show called All Things Considered
NPR listeners heard an audio release for the Biden administration on Friday’s commute. Rachel Levine (assistant HHS secretary and transgender activist) is giving a speech for a Texas LGBTQ Health Conference. Christian NPR promoted it as a press officer at University. No other view was offered, and certainly none about the “Christian” portion.
MARY LOUISE KELLY, anchor: Admiral Rachel Levine, the highest-ranking transgender official in U.S. history, will give a speech in Texas tomorrow. Levine is the U.S. assistant secretary for health. Texas Christian University, Fort Worth will be her venue. She’ll urge medical students and faculty to resist political attacks on trans youths and their families. Selena Simmons Duffin of NPR got an exclusive look at the prepared remarks and sat down with Levine before she flew to Texas.
SELENA SIMMONS DUFFIN: Legislators all over the nation, from Idaho to Arizona are creating bills. Trans kids should be targetedThese people limit access to sports and health care, as well as what they can talk about in school.
RACHEL LEVINE: I’m This is not for a political person. right? My focus is public and medical health.
Are you a politician? However, she is campaigning to stop “anti-trans” bill from coasts to coasts.
SIMMONS-DUFFIN : She wrote, quote, “The language of science and medicine is being used to.” People can commit suicide. It is becoming a priority to consider children’s welfare. You can endanger the lives of children. It is time to stand up for those who are being hurt.“
LEVINE: Trans young people need support. It is essential that they are affirmed. They should be empowered.
SIMMONS-DUFFIN : Texas provides a sharp setting for such a speech. Transparent parents have been investigated by the state. Families have moved out of the state because they felt unsafe and the state attorney general recently attacked Levine herself on Twitter.
LEVINE: That is what I feel about it, and that I use in my advocacy and my policy work.
What was Attorney General Ken Paxton’s “attack”?

Think about what he would call her, “Richard.”
This tweet can’t be considered or quoted. NPR’s anti-debate attitude is highlighted when Levine states that “there is no argument” against LGBT ideology. NPR does not allow hate speech.
SIMMONS-DUFFIN : However, it is important to note that there are no scientific disputes when it comes down to the overall picture.
LEVINE: Gender-affirming care is a valuable and important aspect of life. Arguments are not needed.
SIMMONS-DUFFIN: It is safe to receive gender-affirming treatment. It’s lifesaving,She explains. This is a result of years of research. I asked Levine if it’s exhausting Answering questions and sharing her personal experiences, she is always open to answering your gender-related questions.
LEVINE: It’s fine. It’s not bothering me. It doesn’t bother me, because I have been working in this position for 7-8 years.
SIMMONS-DUFFIN : She knows that her role is to make her visible as a proud and open transgender woman and to take advantage of her position. support vulnerable communitiesShe will do everything she can. Selena Simmons-Duffin, NPR News.
