Woke Military: Pentagon Will Keep Performing Abortions

General Patton might see the United States Department of Defense’s (DOD), and he may lick it like it had PTSD. The DOD is continuing to cater to radical leftists, producing provocative military advertisements and allowing transgenders in the service. Now, it’s potentially breaking the law. 

In light of the Dobbs decision, the DOD announced on June 28 that they would continue to perform abortions for service members “consistent with federal law,” according to Matthew Gault from Vice.

In a memo signed by Gilbert Cisneros, DOD Undersecretary for Defense, the Pentagon declared its policy.

The Pentagon felt the need to make a comment about the mind-boggling situation. DoD needs to be focused on American national security and not on advancing the agendas of the hard right. The memo instead affirms that there will not be any changes to the existing DOD policy. 

“This decision will have significant implications for our Service members, dependents, and other beneficiaries of the DoD health care services, and civilian employees, as well as the readiness of the Force,” the memo read. “The implications of the Supreme Court’s decision are complicated and must be evaluated against various state laws, together with the views of the Department of Justice.” The Pentagon prioritizes the ability of its servicemembers to murder their children in the name of effectiveness needily. 

According to the DOD memo, abortion would be allowed in cases of incest and rape in those states that have limited abortion rights, like Texas and Louisiana. This is a clear indication that the DOD promotes pro-abortion talk points. The DOD memo, however, is against the Hyde Amendment which bans federal funding from being used for abortion. “The Supreme Court’s decision does not prohibit the Department from continuing to perform covered abortions consistent with federal law,” the Pentagon said. “There will be interruption to this care. Health care providers will continue to follow existing departmental policy, and then leadership of military medical treatment facilities will implement measures to ensure continued access to care.” Essentially the DOD budget will now be used to solicit abortions. 

In conclusion, the memo states that any expense related to abortion will be covered by DOD. “Either as Government-funded, official travel for a covered abortion, or at the Service member’s own expense on regular leave for all other cases,” the memo states. We are proud of the outstanding work done by the DOD. 

The Pentagon is less concerned about the possibility of children being murdered than it is the increasing geopolitical risks. The Pentagon is more interested in serving the woke mob rather than the citizens of the United States.
