Wednesday night on his eponymous Fox News Channel show, host Tucker Carlson and former Congressman Sean Duffy (R-WI) lambasted the liberal media and their allies in elected office for having moved on from the deadly November 15 attack on the Waukesha, Wisconsin Christmas parade as the facts of the case run conflict with the left’s narratives about America.
Put simply, as both acknowledged (and as our Bill D’Agostino did last monthIt all comes down to race and religion.
“[A]ll of a sudden, you’re not hearing anything about the mass murder in Waukesha — Waukesha, Wisconsin, just, like, the other day. Why aren’t we hearing more about this? This seems to be a huge story. The media don’t want to talk about it,” Carlson teased.
Carlson began the segment by highlighting the fact that, “two weeks after the murders,” the White House decided it cared enough to Send people to thereIn the shape of Jill Biden, First Lady and Doug Emhoff, Second Gentlemen.
Duffy was asked by the FNC host to simplify it. “why [has] this” attack “[been] ignored”As you can see “inherently, mass murder is always big deal.”
Before explicitly stating why, Duffy set the table by describing Waukesha as “a great community” where “you want to raise your family” with “great schools” and people who “go to church on Sunday” and “love the Packers.”
Duffy included this reminder. “[i]t’s mostly White, mostly Christian, Republican-leaning county, so they’re the wrong race, wrong religion, wrong politics” While suspect Darrell Brooks Jr. “is Black,” “anti-White, anti-Jew,” and “anti-Trump” He allegedly planned to take his SUV on a parade through the streets and commit murder. “dancing grannies an eight-year-old boy” and “injur[ing] 60 people.”
Citing Brooks’s lengthy rap sheet and fact that he was “out on $1,000 bail,”Duffy claimed that media recognize where they stand regarding criminal justice, and hatred towards “Kyle Rittenhouse, Trump supporters,” “all the white people,” Brooks’s mass murder went against all their favorite narratives about humanity.
He explained that the liberal media were his explanation. “totally ice[d] it out…because they don’t want to be confronted with these facts of good people being mowed down by a really bad man and, frankly, a guy who should have been locked up[.]”
Carlson replied by citing the fact that “ the media have no credibility at all” and especially when one considers “the disparity between the way this was covered and the Kyle Rittenhouse trial is covered,” which led Duffy to cite other topics the media have either harped on or ignored (click “expand”):
DUFFY: Well, no — to put it quickly, I mean, if you look at it: how did they cover the — the Russian collusion hoax and BLM —
CARLSON: Right. That’s right.
DUFFY: — and the — the — the January 6 insurrection. But they don’t cover the Hunter Biden laptop story and they don’t cover this story, right? So, they’re just hacks and you wonder why their ratings are so low or why people don’t trust the media? It’s because, I mean, and you’ve mentioned this, it’s an outlet for the Democrat Party, the — the radical wing of the liberals that they support and that’s the stories they tell, but you know what? People want to hear the whole story. We should all know this story in order to determine if we want bail reform.
CARLSON: Right. Right. No, it’s just —
DUFFY: Are we truly interested in criminal justice reform?
CARLSON: — exactly right.
DUFFY: Are these good things for America? How will these policies affect the American people? This is something we need to be aware of. We don’t have the information because they won’t. We’re still in the dark.
Anyone who thinks Carlson and Duffy are partisans should be aware that the facts prove them right.
Like our Scott Whitlock Written Monday, the major broadcast network morning and evening newscasts have completely ignored Brooks’s hateful views and ceased mentioning him all together by November 24. A few weeks later, ABC, CBS and NBC were all gone.

FNC’s Tucker Carlson Tonight
December 15, 2021
Eastern Time: 8:33 PM [TEASE]TUCKER CARLSON: Well, all of a sudden, you’re not hearing anything about the mass murder in Waukesha — Waukesha, Wisconsin, just, like, the other day. Why is that happening? This seems to be a huge story. The media don’t want to talk about it.
(….)
Eastern, 8:41
CARLSON : The world seems to have forgotten all about the Waukesha massacre that took place in Wisconsin. Finally, the Biden administration decided to make it seem like they were paying attention. Two weeks later, the Second Lady and First Gentleman were sent down to the crime scene to offer their condolences. Why have media and leaders ignored what took place in Waukesha just after the Kyle Rittenhouse trial? Sean Duffy was a Wisconsin congressman in the past. Tonight, he will be joining us. Sean, many thanks for joining us tonight. So, this just — inherently, mass murder is always a big deal. This is why this one is being overlooked.
SEAN DUFFY (Well, let’s just start by saying that I really appreciate Tucker covering the story. Waukesha, Wisconsin is an amazing community. These kids have excellent schools.
CARLSON: Yep.
DUFFY: Sunday church. The Packers are their favorite team. It’s a place you want to raise your family, right?
CARLSON: Ahh.
DUFFY (But I believe you must look at all the facts, right?) You have Waukesha. It’s mostly White, mostly Christian, Republican-leaning county, so they’re the wrong race, wrong religion, wrong politics, number one.
CARLSON: Right.
DUFFY? But Darrell Brooks Jr. (the defendant), is number 2. He is Black. He is also anti-Jewish, anti-White and anti-Trump. However, he drives his SUV down Tucker’s Christmas parade route. He kills eight-year-old boys and grannies.
CARLSON: Exactly.
DUFFY: And here’s the problem with the story — is that he has a rap sheet 50 pages long and he’s out on $1,000 bail, so the media looks at that and says, well, listen. We’re supporting criminal justice reform and bail reform and we’ve also said that all the white people — I’m sorry — all the racists are like Kyle Rittenhouse, Trump supporters. These are the racists. It can’t be Darrell Brooks Jr. who’s a Black man who hates white people, so we can’t cover the story. They totally ice it out and it’s because they don’t want to be confronted with these facts of good people being mowed down by a really bad man and, frankly, a guy who should have been locked up in jail and not released on bail.
CARLSON : It’s so precise and accurate that I can’t even think of another way to explain it. I don’t think you’re reading it off a screen.
DUFFY: No.
CARLSON: I’m impressed how concisely you put it. You see, I’m not trying to split the country more than it is now, especially along ethnic lines. You feel that the media lack credibility because of the difference between how this was reported and how the Kyle Rittenhouse case is being covered. Literally, at all.
We should all know this story to determine if we want bail reform.
CARLSON: Right. Right. No, it’s just —
DUFFY – Do we want reforms in the criminal justice system?
CARLSON: — exactly right.
DUFFY, Is America benefiting from this policy? How will these policies affect the American people? This is something we need to be aware of. We don’t have the information because they won’t. We’re still in the dark.
CARLSON: Man. That’s — again, so nicely described. I — I agree with that. Fair people will agree with you. Sean Duffy, I’m grateful.
DUFFY: Thanks, Tucker.
