The View Claims DeSantis Scamming Donors, ‘Losing Their Homes!’

Friday immediately following National ReviewA scathing article was published calling for the exclusion of The View’s faux “conservative” Alyssa Farah Griffin, she showed her true blue colors as she falsely accused Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis of scamming his supporters with a recurring donation “grift.” This was backed up by co-host Sunny Hostin asserting, without evidence, that “people are losing their homes” to his scam.

These lies were made during a discussion where liberals were discussing the possibility that DeSantis could run for President in 2024. Dan Abrams, ABC’s chief legal analyst was co-hosting the show. He suggested that DeSantis had been tricking Trump supporters into giving money to his governorship campaign in order to use it to challenge former President Trump.

Trump donors are now giving to DeSantis. Meaning they’re giving to his, quote, “re-election campaign” – right – for governor. However, they realize that he raises more money than what he actually needs for his governor’s race. This has led to him having a large war fund at the close of his re-election campaign. You can guess where this money is going.

“Who are these people giving money to these people?!”Hostin laughed in disbelief. “Business,” chided faux Republican and Florida resident Ana Navarro.

Farah Griffin said that he had been stealing his money through a scam donation program, as though she were giving away some dirty little secrets about DeSantis. “For folks who aren’t familiar, what a lot of these apps and websites do is you click to give once, and it actually signs you up to recurrently give. It’s so unfair. It’s a waste. It is terrible,”Sie proclaimed.

“People are losing their homes! They’re losing their savings!”Hostin hooted. Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of the show, added heavy sarcasm. “What a surprise. There’s a grift involved in this, oh no!”

However, I responded to this video tweet. The Washington Examiner’s Department of Justice and investigative reporter, Jerry Dunleavy pointed out in a tweet that the “WinRed donation page for DeSantis’s gubernatorial campaign does not automatically make a donation a recurring one, but instead it’s a box you have to voluntarily select yourself.” He even included an image from the page (below).

This wasn’t the only lie Farah Griffin told about the political party she purports to still be a part of. Earlier in the show, during a conversation about the 10-year-old Ohio girl who was raped and got an abortion (they omitted the part about the alleged rapist being an illegal immigrant), she parroted the leftist falsehood that the pro-life side didn’t care about the babies and women after birth.

“To be pro-life needs to mean supporting moms throughout their lives. It means paid parental leave, it means investing in foster and adoption care,”Sie said. “Frustrates me so much that my party really cares about them having the baby, but there’s no benefits that they’re going to have after the fact.”

Many charities and pro-life groups exist that provide support for women and children after the birth. The left is actually disgusted at the fact that crisis pregnancy centers are 3-1 more popular than abortion mills and want them to be shut down.

Because of the lucrative sponsorships by Progressive and Olay, these lies about Governor Ron DeSantis are possible. You can find their contact information here.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG : It is beyond comprehension the sheer stupidity I’ve seen. This shocks me.

ALYSSA FARAH GRAFIN: It’s really fast. Being pro-life must mean that you support moms all their lives. This means taking paid parental leave and investing in foster or adoption care. It’s not just – It just frustrates me so much.

SUNNY HOTIN: Pre-k universal.

FARAH GRIFIN: [Nods in agreement] Frustrates me so much that my party really cares about them having the baby, but there’s no benefits that they’re going to have after the fact.

[Applause]

GOLDBERG: We had a conversation yesterday about how – how people want you to have these babies, but people don’t provide these things you need like a doula, like a midwife.

DAN ABS: There are Trump donors now giving to DeSantis. Meaning they’re giving to his, quote, “re-election campaign” – right – for governor. You can guess where this money is going.

HOSTIN. You said he had about $200 Million.

ABRAMS: He’s going to have about $200 million probably by the time of the election. He’s got about 125 or so.

HOSTIN: What are the people who give money to such people?!

ANA NAVARRO – Business

FARAH GRAFFIN: Sunny also made an excellent point. Many of these sites and apps let you give one time, then you sign up to continue giving. It’s so unfair. This is an absurdity. It is horrible.

HOSTIN: Homeowners are losing their houses! They’re losing their savings!

GOLDBERG – What a shock. Oh no, there’s actually a grift in all of this. [Sarcastically]

ABRAMS – Many people giving money to DeSantis don’t have much. This is an awful lot of money, I know.
