This news comes fast and furious after the Supreme Court leaked a draft decision that would overturn Roe V. Wade. RedState provided initial details and noted that the draft should not be considered the final result.
This is still a remarkable development. It appears that at least five justices had been prepared to reverse the historic Roe and Casey abortion precedents. The next step is what will make things interesting.
This leak clearly aimed to incite outrage against the justices and make violent threats to them, as a desperate attempt to persuade them to vote differently. Barricades were erected around the Supreme Court within minutes of the leak being announced.

As to the reactions on the left, they are as hysterical and radical as you’d expect. The party of “norms” is getting dangerously close to outright calling for an insurrection in response to this news. Below are just some examples. Many people praise the leaker and call him a hero despite this being an attack on our governance system.

While the left constantly bleats about “democracy” and respecting elections, they actually only care about getting their way. Roe was overthrown by the justices appointed through a legal election. This is the same thing as trying to intimidate them. It is a direct assault on the court and its legitimacy, and if the left can write off the Supreme Court to suit their wants, what else can they write off when it’s convenient? As things get worse, that should be the question many people ask tonight.
This is uncharted territory and it could become even more dangerous. It wouldn’t surprise me to see riots stem from this, especially if the court affirms this draft and actually does follow through. You can be sure that the mainstream media will support the leftist side in this battle, and even excuse their outrageous rhetorical behavior.
Bernie Sanders calls for Roe to be codified by Congress, and he is proposing the elimination of the filibuster. This is, to not be dramatic enough, how divisions can sink to an all-time dangerous level in the country. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
Things are set to go crazy over the coming month. At this point, I’m not sure the court can wait until June to issue the official opinion. They should immediately release the draft and then let the chips drop if that is their final outcome. It is possible that the justices will flip and it would ruin the court’s credibility. It is not possible for the right to claim victory in this sickly ploy.
