Even though Dr. Anthony Fauci was able to sidestep inquiries from Sen. Roger Marshall about the bombshell DARPA report uncovered by Project Veritas this week during his testimony before the Senate, multiple members of Congress still have questions, and they’ve started going for the answers.
Six members of the House of Representatives sent a letter to the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, and CDC Director Walensky with a list of questions they’d like answers to. Madison Cawthorn, Bill Posey, Diana Harshbarger, Lisa McClain, Randy Weber, and Matt Gaetz signed the letter, and didn’t specify from whom the answers to these questions should come, just that they demand answers.
The senator Ron Johnson, a Republican from Wisconsin is asking for answers. The senator sent Lloyd Austin a short letter with questions and requests. His first paragraph gives some context to Monday’s news. Many have wondered what happened once Maj. Joseph Murphy’s report was received by the DoD’s Office of the Inspector General. Johnson wrote:
The document states that Major Murphy submitted the disclosure to the Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General (DoD OIG) to be investigated. It is my understanding that the disclosure was subsequently referred by the DoD OIG to the DoD’s Research and Engineering office for further investigation.
This is some interesting information.
Johnson paraphrases what was contained in Murphy’s report (which he labels a disclosure) then asks for answers to the following questions no later than January 25, 2022:
Finally, Johnson asks to be briefed on the findings of any investigation that has been conducted, and, most importantly, to “speak with Maj. Murphy regarding his disclosure as soon as possible.” Hopefully, with Sen. Johnson and multiple members of the House of Representatives formally looking into this matter, Murphy will be protected from any retaliation – and more importantly, hopefully the American people will finally start getting the truth from our government.
