Joe Scarborough is continuing his leftward spiral. We reported Scarborough’s support for various liberal positions. The Democrats put a special emphasis on their “voting right” bill. The following month we reported Scarborough compared Republican opposition to the bill with George Wallace standing at the schoolhouse doors.
This Thursday Morning JoeScarborough went one step further. He didn’t merely You must!Democrats propose to eliminate the filibuster concerning “voting right” [and “civil rights’]. Scarborough was unrelenting in insisting that Democrats don’t have a reason to act as they do.
Rich Lowry is at the National ReviewIt has been repeatedly demonstrated. It is a “travesty” that the Democrat “voting right” bill was introduced. Lowry put it this way:
“It’s unfocused, excessive in impositions of the states and careless with speech rights. It is also constitutionally dubious.
Scarborough does not only focus on the physical. Support Such legislation but to insist that Democrats repeal the filibuster so it can be passed is yet another example of how Democrats are unable to compromise.Self-described “conservative”, the man has now migrated decisively to the port side.
Scarborough proved that he is still in touch with reality. According to him, Democrats have only 14 months left in which to be “in control.”
Michael Steele (ex-RNC Chair and now Lincoln Project member), could be heard murmuring agreement. Joe did admit that Democrats, barring some unforeseen events, will lose their majority of the House and possibly the Senate. This demonstrates their desperation.
Joe Scarborough’s filibuster-crumbling demands were sponsored in part by BMW and SoFi.

6:11 am ETJOE SCARBOROUGH Democrats—They’ll be in power for the next 14 months—whether they’re going to pass voting rights legislation This actually preserves not the Democratic party, but west-style democracy.
MIKA BRZEZINSKI :
SCARBOROUGH: I mean, that’s, that’s what—we’re sitting here watching Democrats yelling at each other in the halls over numbers. The headline is that Republican state legislatures in the United States are passing legislations which actually prevent the voter counters having final say. Instead, right-wing state legislatures can decide what votes count and which are not.
. . .
Willie: If there are any exceptions to the filibuster for federal judges, or if they are for Supreme Court nominees, that would be a great thing. It has been the top issue for Republican base for generations. There is no excuse, no excuseDemocrats should not make any exceptions to the filibuster regarding voting rights or civil rights. That’s about as easy as it gets, no excuses.
