Opinion Monday Moment: Elon Musk’s F-You Money

Musk has lots of money. So much money that he’s got what we out here in these media streets like to call, F-YOU money. He can spend billions of dollars just to make a point, and it looks like that’s exactly what he is trying to do with Twitter.

Don’t mistake the excitement from the right-wing as hero worship. This is what the right is responding to.  level 10, absolute master trolling of Musk’s move. At this point, it doesn’t matter much if his bid is completed. Musk’s mission is to expose the dictatorial, authoritarian and anti-free speech tendencies of Big Tech, their political allies. It is clear that we have all been saying what the right has always said, given the panic at the mere possibility of one billionaire replacing another. Their wealthy, one-percenter allies on the alt-left have zero interest in discussing. They are determined to dictate the story and control the discussion. The alt-left thinks they have the moral right and ability to direct it. They don’t want to be in control of who can say what, which has led to the mask falling, and the alt-left talk heads are now loudly proclaiming to the world that only a small, elite ruling class should decide what is allowed and what is not.

These people are disgusted at the state of the working class. If Musk is successful in his bid, they’ll be one seat closer to those disgusting working class people. Then what? The seas and skies will rise, cats will be with their dogs and the moon will become blood-red. Or maybe we’ll all just keep typing our 280 characters at a time and go on with our lives. I’m betting on the latter, but don’t tell the progressive cranks. It’s fun to watch them melt down over freedom.
