This was the most surprising spin from our Revolving Door Department into Planned Parenthood’s bloody arms. On Monday, young CBS News reporter Kate Smith announced that she had been appointed “senior news director” at the largest national abortion conglomerate. This is understandable, as it seems like Smith was being directed by Planned Parenthood while at CBS.
This is the Most Amazing “Revolving Door” Move Ever

“Personal news: Excited to work full time with Planned Parenthood in this innovative new venture. More to follow. Keep watching!Smith tweets:
Smith covered abortion access on TV between 2018 and last July. She promoted the 77-year-old abortion clinic volunteer and the woman in her second trimester who was finding it difficult to get an abortion in Texas during the pandemic. But most memorable were the multiple fluff pieces Smith did with Planned Parenthood President Alexis McGill Johnson.
She bizarrely declared “When I quit CBS,”Now that I’m not a reporter I can be candid about my own opinions on reproductive rights“, as though it were a huge secret. She added: “I’ll say this: With or without Roe v WadeAccess to abortion for women with low incomes is decreasing across the Midwest and South. And it’s happening more or less under the radar.”
She continued: “It’s a pivotal moment for abortion rights, and one that deserves a lot of coverage and our attention. Editors, I know there’s reader and viewer fatigue when it seems like the millionth six-week ban. It’s important news, and should still be reported.
Ryan Bomberger, a pro-life activist tweeted: “Everyone knows that you are pro-abortion.” This is not an unspoken truth.” Smith responded, “Reporters find it difficult to cover this beat because of stupid trolling. Congrats.“
Here are two videos to highlight the obvious public relations for Planned Parenthood. Interview with Alexis McGill Johnson, Davos 2020
This was Kate’s interview in 2019 with Johnson:
Conservative radio host Erick Erickson summed it up on Twitter: “I remember getting notes from several reporters upset with me saying Kate Smith has been nothing but a propagandist for the abortion industry at CBS and now this.”
