Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and others have not condemned the leakage of the SCOTUS draft opinions. Incorrectly, they demonized and criticized the Court for its draft opinion. This is not a final opinion. Instead, they chose to refrain from commenting. As I noted, if Kamala Harris had been a Republican, we’d already be hearing Democrats say that she was calling for an “insurrection” when she called on people to “fight” with “everything we have” against a decision that hasn’t even been made yet.
Chuck Schumer, Senate Majority Leader, went further. He has in the past threatened members of the Court, saying they would “pay the price” and they “wouldn’t know what hit them if they go forward” with their decisions, specifically trying to intimidate them to do what Democrats want. Schumer was again at it after the SCOTUS leaked documents, accusing them falsely of lying. Sister Toldjah (my colleague) explained the reasons why this was an unacceptable lie. Again, this threat is meant to intimidate justices so that they will agree with the draft opinion. If they don’t, the Senate can try to get them out.
While they talk about norms, they also throw the Court under the bus with these kinds of inappropriate attacks and try to compromise it.
Their actions now incite further intimidation against the Court.
To force conservative Supreme Court justices into accepting the Left’s demands on abortion, activists groups announced that they would be visiting their homes. They call their disgusting action offensive.
Fox News
The activists are organizing under the moniker “Ruth Sent Us” and have published the supposed home addresses of Justices Amy Coney Barrett, John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch.
“Our 6-3 extremist Supreme Court routinely issues rulings that hurt women, racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights,” the group’s website reads. “We must rise up to force accountability using a diversity of tactics.”
Fox is reporting that police have been deployed to the justices’ homes to protect them. According to them, they would be visiting the houses on May 11. This is unconscionable and needs to be condemned by the Biden Administration but I’m willing to bet it will not be, just as they have not condemned the leak, another intimidation effort. The White House may have known about the leak in advance, as I mentioned. This raises questions about the White House’s role. This is where the left is at this point — they don’t care about norms, they will do anything to get what they want.
What’s so wrong on top of the threat to the justices is naming it after Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Although RBG was a libertarian, she would be horrified by such an act. Although she was a strong believer in the Court’s integrity she spoke out against Democratic attempts to court-pack. Additionally, Roe caused her problems, as she felt it should have been passed by the states legislatures.
They might want to read RBG
Compare Roe v Wade’s flaws to Alito’s Draft Brief.🤔It sounds as though RBG would be in agreement with Justice Alito.
Support should include “Ruth Sent Us”.😂University of Chicago Law School

This is how radical these people are — they’re even encouraging protests in Catholic churches.
Whether you’re a “Catholic for Choice”, ex-Catholic, of other or no faith, recognize that six extremist Catholics set out to overturn Roe. Stand at or inside a Catholic Church in your area Sun May 8. #WarOnWomen #MothersDayStrike pic.twitter.com/v2vtpd12Gp

RBG would condemn such an attempt as an attack against her loved Court and on its constitutional integrity. Not to mention the attack on people’s religious beliefs.
Democrats are wrong to think that such actions will benefit them in November. This is the kind of thing Democrats will do that most Americans will be shocked at.
