Joe’s Little Big Guy

Washington — At the height of the presidential race pitting Vice President Joe Biden against President Donald Trump, former New York city mayor Rudy Giuliani was given a laptop. The contents contained sensitive information which incriminated Hunter Biden, his father and former Vice-President Joe Biden. Giuliani immediately brought the laptop in question to the attention the New York Post. The Post validated it and interviewed Hunter’s associates. New York Post’s editors saw a silver-bottom story on Hunter’s corruption, and perhaps of Hunter’s collusion with Democratic presidential candidate. Hunter was caught on camera collaborating with Ukrainian and Chinese tycoons. Worse, still, on the laptop, he claimed he would be giving his father — “the Big Guy” — a cut of the cash that was changing hands.

In September 2020 the laptop was found and there would have been a huge story about it following on from the New York Post’s report. It was not covered by the mainstream media. Now the Post says, “the story was censored by social media companies at the behest of the Democratic Party. Mainstream media outlets — including the (New York) Times — attacked or ignored the Post’s revelations.” The Biden campaign claimed the story was part of a Russian disinformation campaign — another instance of Trump supposedly colluding with the Russians. What is more, over 50 intelligence community adepts signed a letter claiming the Post story had “the classic earmarks of a Russian disinformation operation.” These intelligence community adepts really have it in for Trump. Why is that? It is not their job to be so partisan.

Now The New York Times has published a story — 17 months after the Post published its story — that the Hunter Biden laptop exists and the evidence that the Post has published is true, without mentioning the Post by name. According to this, 16 months after Big Guy became president, The Times published the Post’s article. The Times may be admitting that it participated in a huge cover-up. Is it really? Is it assuming that readers are only aware of what is in The New York Times? No, it seems that the Times is the only source of news. Although the Times report on Hunter Biden is long and boring, it does not mention the Post. However, the Times story uses the Post’s storyage.

The Times’ coverage of this story can be a perfect example of The New York Times being trapped in its bubble. In fact, I can think of no better example of the American left — which I no longer call liberal — living in a bubble than its treatment of this story. America truly is a divided nation. The conservative and left-leaning parts of America are both present.

Recently, the left wing in America believed for several months that Hunter Biden’s father and right-wing conspirators were behind his defeat. It is possible that Joe Biden truly is innocent. However, it would be interesting to find out how someone could become serious wealthy with a salary of a senator for 36 years. Hunter may be as smart as his dad, although he needs a haircut and fresh hair dye. He also needs to improve his pecs, as he lifted a line from his father in one photo. Do you recall Joe tapping a journalist on the chest and saying, “You need to work on your pecs”? Hunter’s upper body needs to be taken care of.

But enough about the Biden family. Let’s end the session today on a high note. Glory to Ukraine!
