Disney Cruise Lines Institutes Full Vaccine Mandate – Opinion

It is better to be jabbed in the beginning.

All adult passengers must have COVID vaccines before they can board. To board any Disney Cruise Line ship, every guest 5 years old and over will be required to get a COVID vaccine.

On Wednesday, the cruise line released a statement stating that negative COVID testing will not be accepted and new requirements will take effect January 13, 2022.

Currently Disney Cruise Line requires all guests who are eligible for vaccines (based on US eligibility criteria) to have their COVID-19 vaccinations completed at sailing. All Guests, both domestic and international, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of sailing. This applies to all guests ages 5 years and older for sailings that begin after January 13, 2022. If Guests aren’t eligible for vaccines due to their age, they must show proof that a COVID-19 negative test was performed between three days and 24 hours prior to the sailing date. This testing may be completed by guests aged 5-11 years old in place of having to get fully vaccinated before sailings departing after January 13, 2022. All guests under 4 years old must comply with the testing requirements. You can choose to have the test done as a NAAT or rapid PCR test. Acceptance of rapid antigen testing is not possible.

The cruise industry experienced a slow but steady reopening in 2018, however it is now able to operate largely without incident. Back in August CNN breathlessly reported on an “outbreak” of COVID on a Carnival cruise. But, 27 people were not confirmed. Reports of severe symptoms and hospitalizations were not reported.

In another aspect of the story that should give everyone, including Disney, pause when it comes to mandates – all 27 people on that cruise were vaccinated.

So Disney and every other institution that has sold out to the cult of COVID is forcing children – who face nearly zero risk for COVID – to be injected with a substance that doesn’t stop the spread of COVID and doesn’t prevent one from contracting COVID in order to participate in public life.

It makes no sense. It is heresy to ask for logic these days.
