Liberal media used airline confrontations to paint pandemic opponents in negative light since the outbreak of the pandemic. But a Sunday scuffle between a pro-mask woman and an 80-year-old-man, who had pulled his mask down to eat, got no airtime on Monday’s edition of CBS Evening News.
CBS didn’t report on this heinous incident, but instead covered the Covid-related shortages of staff over Christmas Weekend that resulted in hundreds to hundreds of cancelled flights as well as the rise of passport fees.
In the past few years, media reports on airline fights have tended to focus more heavily on anti-mask passengers, who go too far. These reports are not the only ones that highlight these incidents. They also tend to call them mask-related. So, it was a little surprising to see ABC’s World News TonightYou should focus on one aggressor who is pro-mask.
“The woman seen allegedly assaulting an 80-year-old man. They are seen shouting at one another about their masks. The FBI later taking her into custody,” announced fill-in anchor Whit Johnson before handing it off to Los Angeles correspondent Zohreen Shah.
Giving a rundown of exactly what happened on Sunday, Shah noted that the unhinged pro-masker wasn’t even wearing hers properly as she berated an elderly man for not wearing one while eating:
SHAH: At this point, everything quickly spiraled out of control during a Delta flight from Tampa to Atlanta.
UNIDENTIFIED MAN: That’s assault. You’re going to jail.
SHAH. Police say that passenger Patricia Cornwall can be seen in video punching an 80-year old man. She also spits on him and raises her fist. They began to shout at one another about their lack of masks. You can hear him claiming that he took it off while preparing to eat. Also, her mask is clearly visible. They yelled and cursed at one another for several minutes.
PATRICIA CORNWALL: Get your mask on!
“Crew members then forcing her to the back of the plane for the rest of the flight. After landing, police detained her and then took her into custody by the FBI. The male passenger was not charged,” Shah added.
The brutal altercation was also given 13 seconds on air. NBC Nightly NewsKerry Sanders, correspondent, spoke about flight cancellations and staff shortages during a longer segment. He also highlighted annoyed flight attendant unions who didn’t like the CDC shortening Covid quarantines from 10 days down to five.
“This comes as flight attendants who are physically closest to passengers were forced yet again Sunday to break up a fight. One unmasked passenger confronting another who had pulled his mask down to eat,” Sanders reported.
While NBC might not have taken as long to report on this, the example it gave was a great representation of how CBS could have covered it.
CBS’s omission of the pro-mask lunatic was made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from PrevagenAnd Purina. You can find their contact information linked to let you know about biased news that they are funding.

SHAH: She was forced to sit at the back by crew members for the remainder of the flight. She was taken to the FBI by FBI agents after she was arrested upon landing. The male passenger wasn’t charged. Crew members, as well several others in the group, claim that they sustained injuries during the incident.
Since the beginning of the year there have been unprecedented numbers of violent and heated confrontations, many of them violent. This was due to the pandemic. Video from TMZ showing an apparent incident on a Delta overnight flight last week between Memphis and L.A. American Airlines banned a passenger who allegedly attacked a flight attendant last October and broke several bones in her head.
As we head into Christmas weekend, more than 5,700 passengers were involved in unruly incidents according to the FAA. There were over 4,100 mask-related incidents this year.

Delta said such instances are very rare, and that they do not tolerate unruly behaviour. Whit?
JOHNSON, Zohreen Shaikh, thank you so much for everything tonight.
