As we previously reported, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was mocked by comedian Alex Stein, who made comments about her “booty” as she passed by him going up the Capitol steps. She later had a meltdown over it, saying that she had intended to “deck” him, and blasting the Capitol Police for–in her estimation–not protecting her/doing anything about it.
On Wednesday evening, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “I posted about a deeply disgusting incident that happened today on the Capitol steps, but took it down bc it’s clearly someone seeking extremist fame.”
“It’s just a bummer to work in an institution that openly allowed this, but talking about it only invites more. Just really sad,” she added. She posted video later of Alex Stein, a political comedian mocking her while she was walking near him at the Capitol Complex.
She commented, “Here is a video he posted of the incident. I was actually walking over to deck him because if no one will protect us then I’ll do it myself but I needed to catch a vote more than a case today.”
It was she who approached him, flashing a peace sign. He didn’t approach her nor threaten her.
Many pointed out how hypocritical she was–that she mocked Justice Brett Kavanaugh for being harassed by protesters, even after Kavanaugh had faced an assassination threat, but she has a huge problem with someone making a nasty remark near her.
She called the police not once, but five times to Stein according to her statements to a reporter.
AOC called 5 cops because @alexstein99She told her that she had a good sex, but mocked Brett Kavanaugh after a left-wing mob made him leave the restaurant through the back. pic.twitter.com/UzA1ndqEBe

She also asked to speak to “female and LGBT reporters to warn us that the man who harassed her is affiliated with credentialed news outlet.” So, she only wanted to complain to reporters other than men?
On top of that, she used it to attack the Capitol Police–and complain that they had opened the doors on Jan. 6 for people, so she didn’t trust them.

You can hear someone trolling her even on this video; when she says “insurrectionists,” the person says “Antifa.”
Nice of her to confirm that fact (although she wasn’t even in the Capitol building at the time of the riot). The Jan. 6 Committee isn’t going to like that, because they like to forget that little fact — that many people were let in. On Jan. 6, Capitol Police went to her half-mile away office to make sure her safety. She even attacked them for it.
But now, the Capitol Police are responding with a statement about the incident with a little reality, in the face of AOC’s freak-out.
Here’s what the Capitol Police had to say about last night’s incident with @AOC :
“…The comments, although inappropriate, are not criminal. In the video, the man never threatened or touched the Congresswoman…”
Say they stopped him and ran his info too: https://t.co/53iwWsdPMa pic.twitter.com/8VHAt3K1mw

It wasn’t criminal, and he didn’t threaten her. They even stopped him for her and ran his information, even though it wasn’t a crime. Yet still, it wasn’t enough for her and she falsely acted as though they hadn’t responded at all. But they weren’t holding back the truth because it was her–and she’s still blowing a gasket over it.
FYI: We had to raise the issue with House leadership to have him stopped and his data run. They didn’t until House members intervened, and they were pressed to.

But this is AOC — nothing in proportion to reality and exaggerating a nasty comment into a full-blown threat, taking up the time of House leadership and the Capitol Police. This, all at the same time as she mocks the SCOTUS justices — who are under real threat.
